Image Identities

Image identities are a good tool in determining which style lines work for you. There are five families within this system: Dramatic, Natural, Classic, Gamine and Romantic.

It is important to realize that no identity is “better” or more attractive than another. EVERY body is beautiful! And knowing which styles enhance your body lines will leave you feeling confident and looking fabulous!

Here are the six factors in establishing your image identity:

  • Vertical: a visual line created by your silhouette
  • Curve: determined by how clothes drape off your body
  • Width: the width between your shoulders
  • Balance: symmetry, lack of any one noticeable feature
  • Petite: narrowness, smallness in bone structure
  • Double-Curve: an hourglass silhouette created by shoulders, bust-line, waist and hips

In order to determine your image identity, I will need a full-body, front-facing photo of yourself. You will need to wear leggings with a fitted tank top (and bra, but it must not be a sports bra or push-up bra). Take the photo just-below-sternum level and make sure hair is either styled up or behind the body.

You may submit this photo before your session; I will then be able to go over your style lines with you.

Or I can take the photo at the session, and I will send you all of the information about your image identity digitally within 7 days.

We can also do this completely digitally if you prefer and if this is the only service you will be purchasing. Submit your photo; I will analyze and send back all the information you need regarding your image identity and style lines!
